I have always been a creative person. As a little girl I used to watch both of my grandmothers create beautiful crotchet pieces and quilts with such care, love and attention to detail. I was in awe how their hands would weave a ball of yarn into a masterpiece or connect scraps of fabric together to create an heirloom. I always wanted to learn how I could do the same and they showed me, but needless to say I didn’t practice the craft.

Fast forward to 2024, after having lost my Granny Elizabeth the year before and my Granny Virena turned 100, I picked it up and fell in love again. It was natural and soothing to reconnect in this way. I passionately create my little “masterpieces” with the same love, care and creativity that I witnessed as a little girl. I honor my grandmothers in each piece that I create and pray that they bless the receipent as much as it blessed me to create it.
